Always the Bridesmaid....NOW the Bride!

Two years ago this May, I photographed the lovely wedding of Vicki and her fiance, Mike. At the time Vicki's sister, Liz, was part of their wedding party. Tomorrow, Liz herself is the bride and I will once again be on hand to capture the events of the day. This is my first time doing a sibling's wedding and I am honored to have been asked back!

Liz and her finance, Dave, will be getting hitched at Trinity College in Hartford. I've never been there, but I hear that it is beautiful - from the looks of the photos online (thank you, Google Images) we will surely get some great shots.

Now, in honor of Liz's big day, let's take a look back to her sis' wedding:

Flashback: Laura & Cory

I met Laura and Cory at the beach in Milford by their apartment to take some photos as a little warm-up for their wedding - that was two years ago this September! I just heard from Laura (via my facebook page) last week and they have big news! They are expecting their first child - a girl! - in August.

In honor of their big news, I thought I would post a few photos from our session. I told Laura that I thought that we needed to go back to this same location with their new baby - ah, what can change in a couple of years!

The Boys are back in town

This Valentine's Day marked the 4th (or 5th!) time I have had the pleasure of photographing a fabulous group of young performers - The Broadway Boys. The "Boys" gave a special V-day concert at the Westport Country Playhouse, featuring a their signature twist on classic Broadway and pop fare, and invited me along to document the day. Trust me when I say that you will never hear men sing quite so high. These guys rock ...and are a bunch of charmers!

Also shout out to their musical director, my good friend Justin Paul (you can spy him in the background of the 2nd and 3rd photos) - a brilliant musician in his own right!

I'm back... with a new addition!

It's true - I have been remiss at updating my blog. But... I have a great excuse! My husband and I were happy to greet our daughter, Lucy Elizabeth Roth, on November 13, 2009. She took us by surprise - arriving a month early - and has continued to surprise us ever since!

The poor child will be perhaps the most documented kid of all time - here's to my latest subject!
