My beautiful niece!

I got to spend some time photographing one of my nieces, Julia, the day before the start of her senior year of high school. Julia is a beautiful young woman - both outside and, more importantly, in!

Jennifer & Ryan - Take 2!

Usually I get to meet with the bride (and sometimes groom) before the wedding day, but since Jen and Ryan were planning their wedding from afar, I dealt with Jen's fabulous parents, Denise and Jim Honeycutt. Knowing them, it was no surprise to me what fun I had with Jen, Ryan and their guests come their big day! These two definitely seemed in sync and a great match - and they knew how to throw a party, too!! Congrats, Jen & Ryan - I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

A great party can't be great without the right band - and they sure had one! ETA kept the party moving and people dancing all night. And, it all will be well documented by Jen's father's camera crew who was there to make sure the party was recorded in style.

Nothing like a dad and his daughters:

Ryan proposed to Jen at Yankee Stadium (on the JumboTron!), so in honor of that special memory, the Honeycutts put together a surprise baseball/Yankee-themed display as a gift to both Jen and Ryan and their guests. Very cute!

I think they liked it...

Tara & Rob Photo Preview

The ceremony was held at the bride's alma mater, Lauralton Hall, so naturally there was some school-related bulletin board "art" in honor of the bride and groom.

How many brides have you seen with pockets in their wedding dress? AND in the bridesmaid dresses? I thought this was great. And, one asks, what does a bride keep in a pocket of her wedding dress? Something borrrowed, something blue and tissues, of course.
