Flashback: Laura & Cory

I met Laura and Cory at the beach in Milford by their apartment to take some photos as a little warm-up for their wedding - that was two years ago this September! I just heard from Laura (via my facebook page) last week and they have big news! They are expecting their first child - a girl! - in August.

In honor of their big news, I thought I would post a few photos from our session. I told Laura that I thought that we needed to go back to this same location with their new baby - ah, what can change in a couple of years!

Kathy & John

Below are a few shots from a wedding I recently shot at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT. The location is fast becoming one of my favorite wedding locales - I love the kitchy feel of the carousel and the beach pavilion from the 1920's.

Kathy and John had a beautiful and simple ceremony, featuring a moving reading from playwright Tony Kushner's poem, An Epithalamion. The weather held out for the ceremony and the impending rain clouds made for some great pops of color!
