Three Ring Fun
Who knew that one could have so much fun in the parking lot of the Trumbull mall? Last Saturday, we took Lucy to the Cole Brothers Circus, which was setting up its big top tent just down the road. When your 19-month-old has a broken leg during the summer, you do things like take them to the circus and fulfill their (short lived) dream of seeing a live elephant. Miss Lu was totally enthralled from beginning to end and this photog-mom couldn't help but snap a few photos...

Priceless reaction to the elephant's entrance...

The Very Best of .... Wicket
Jess and Isaac had a very special ring bearer... he was kind short, drooled a bit more than necessary and his haircut? Let's just say shaggy...
Their dog, Wicket, provided a lot of color to the event and it is pretty clear that he definitely rules the roost at the Semko's home! :) Check out some of Mr. Wicket's antics from the big day here, in my first-ever dog-themed wedding slideshow...

Lotti and Sean: The Party!
The elegant Bank Street Events in Stamford played host to Lotti and Sean's beautiful reception. The building, as the name suggests, is a former bank, still outfitted with a complex vault - which is now adorned with red rope light. Bank Street also is the home of some of the best wedding food I have eaten at an event space - and that is saying something!

Let's play spot the photographer...

Father/Daughter dance...

After dinner, the hall transformed into a rocking dance party - complete with tons of colorful lights. Colorful lights? Photography? Ok, I will take it!

Love this one of Lotti...

Lotti gets ready!
Sure, the bridesmaid dresses are already picked out, but chosing the right accessories is key...

I always love the moment when the bridesmaids see their friend all dressed up for the first time.

Something so painterly about these next few to me....

Amanda prepares for the big day!
Love this reaction from Amanda's bridesmaids as she appeared at the top of the stairs...

Gorgeous flowers by KD & J Botanica - I loved their presentation and the attention to detail. These tiny clipped labels were just perfect...

Amanda made the day even more special by wearing her mother's wedding gown. Here, her mother helps with the final touches...
