Bridal Shower Classiness

Last weekend marked my niece Katie's final bridal shower - and boy did she go out with a bang! The hosts - good friends of my sister-in-law's - did a smash up job making it one classy occasion.

Katie's July wedding will feature a beautiful Newport, RI locale and what promises to be the world's cutest flower girl. You might ask, just who is the world's cutest flower girl? Is it your daughter? Why yes, yes it is! In about 6 weeks, my 19 month old daughter, Lucy, will be walking down the aisle, accompanied by Ringer Bearer and older man, Grant, aged 4. My husband and I are making bets as to how far Lucy makes it down the aisle before getting bored and turning around.

Ben's Bar Mitzvah

I am always honored when a family asks me back to photograph a second event - I photographed Will's bar mitzvah a few years ago and was excited to work with the family again on his brother Ben's big day. This is a fabulous family who have not lost track of what this special event means - it's a joy to work with them. Plus, they know how to HAVE FUN! This crowd loves to dance - and what's better for a party then that??
