Wedding Style

I loved the beautiful, simple style of Jill and Luke's wedding - they had some great little touches that - to me - were just right.

Gotta love these socks:

No sooner did Luke's suit remind me of the classy British businessmen I admire in London, then do I find out he grew up there - figures!

Jill & Luke

A few shots from Jill & Luke's wedding at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center - a beautiful spot and a very fun couple. Their ceremony even brought a few tears to my eyes - occupational hazard, I know - with their unusual readings... very moving!

Love this look:

Love this little spot in the woods... Perhaps one of the prettier locations I have shot a couple:

I'm always a sucker for a good father/daughter dance...

Samantha & Chris - Take 2

Fun photos sometimes come as a result of the most random of places - like these vintage bathhouses hiding at the country club where Sam & Chris got married. Love the white walls and wooden planked flooring - thanks to Sam for successfully navigating it in heels!

These two seemed to genuinely have fun together - can't have a better start to a marriage than that:

When you are 14 months old, you have better things to do than take photos with a lady in a white dress:

Sam & Chris may win some sort of award for greatest number of cute, small children making successful walks down the aisle...

Spotlight on Samantha, the anti-bridezilla

Samantha was a bride after my own heart - or, rather, an anti-bride after my own heart. She didn't want crazy wedding hoopla - she hardly even wanted a wedding! But perhaps we should keep that little fact secret from the other brides, Samantha.... because those that do care about such things might be jealous about what a gorgeous bride you did make - and with so little effort!

I mean, c'mon, check her out:

Sisters are good because they know how to button up your gown just right (especially if it was their wedding dress):

Moms are good because they know how to tie the sash around your wedding dress perfectly the first time (by the way, I'm loving all that is going on in this photo):

Stunner!

No, this one is not Sam's inner child, just one of three adorable flower girls. Yes, someday this little cutie might be a bride, too. But for now, discovering how fun swinging doors can be will do just fine...
